Chair of the Department of Urology
Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine are seeking a Unified Chair for the Department of Urology. Reporting jointly to the President and CEO for Montefiore Medical Center, and the Dean for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the Chair will be responsible for the clinical practice of urology, the academic programs in medical student, residency and fellowship training and the research activities of the department. This important position requires a nationally recognized leader with a proven track record of collaborative clinical and academic leadership, program development, faculty recruitment and experience in graduate medical education.
The ideal candidate will have a special interest in building a clinical research program within Urology and through collaborations with other academic departments.The candidate must be eligible for appointment at the level of Professor at Einstein and have successful administrative and leadership experience as a Vice Chair, Division Chief/Section Head or Program Director.

Fellowship-trained Endourologist with Special Interest in
Urolithiasis
Maine Medical Partners Urology is seeking a fellowship trained Endourologist to join the largest and most experienced team of urologists in northern New England. Candidate will join 9 urologists, including Maine’s only fellowship-trained pediatric urologists and urologic cancer specialists.
Maine Medical Partners Urology provides care for the evaluation and management of a full range of adult and pediatric urologic diseases and disorders. Urologists take a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, including the development of the Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Program and Kidney Stone Program.
Maine Medical Center’s comprehensive Kidney Stone Prevention Program will be launched in April of 2013. This program is a collaborative effort between endocrinology, urology, and adult and pediatric nephrology. Candidates will work with the Medical Director of the Kidney Stone Program in both clinical care and research.
As part of the position, there is the opportunity for research. The position involves teaching residents and medical students from the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine Medical School Program, and an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine. Maine Medical Center’s Urology Residency is the first and only program in Maine.
